Patients Story
Loved by our Patients
I had my hernia surgery done on 18/4/2023. Dr.Ramesh was supportive throughout and gave out positive vibes. But sometimes they are ignorant about the patient's pain. Night shift nurses gave excellent care, but the day time nurses were not fully attentive and had to call them more than thrice to check up on the patient. Ms.Sangeetha, nurse, personally took a very good care of me. The food for the patient and the attender were delivered to the room on time. Overall I had a good experience and now I'm alright. Thank you gem hospital.

FAQ
Frequently Ask Questions.
Common upper GI conditions include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, gastritis, esophagitis, Barrett's esophagus, hiatal hernia, dyspepsia (indigestion), and upper GI cancers such as esophageal and stomach cancer.
Symptoms can vary depending on the specific condition, but common symptoms include heartburn, regurgitation, chest pain, difficulty swallowing, bloating, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, indigestion, and changes in bowel movements.
Lifestyle changes can help manage GERD symptoms. These may include avoiding trigger foods (spicy or acidic foods, caffeine, alcohol), eating smaller meals, maintaining a healthy weight, elevating the head of the bed, and not lying down immediately after eating. Medications, such as proton pump inhibitors or antacids, can also be prescribed.
