  • Has co- authored and published 34 Research papers in various international & national journals which includes the prestigious “Coimbatore Summit Statements” on Laparoscopic Pancreatic Resection published in “Surgical Oncology”
  • Received the “Travel Grant” Award for the best Laparoscopic paper presentation at the international conference, AHPBA 2019 at Seoul, South Korea
  • Invited as faculty for performing Live laparoscopic surgeries at AMASICON 2020 & Srilankan Surgical society annual conference 2020
  • Co-Author of the chapter on “Minimally Invasive Pancreatic Surgery- What the future holds for this field? ”in G.I. Surgery Annual Vol. 24
  • Co-Author of the chapter on “Eastern experience of Minimally Invasive Pancreaticoduodenectomy” in the international textbook of Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal Surgery.
  • Co-Author of the chapter on “resection for colorectal Liver metastasis in the international book “Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery”
  • Co- author of the first study in the world to publish long term outcomes of laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreatic cancer, published in international journal JLAST April 2015, which was the highest cited article ever in that journal.
  • Co-author of the first Randomized clinical trial on laparoscopic vs open pancreaticoduodenectomy for pancreatic tumours published in British Journal of Surgery, Oct 2017.
  • Invited as faculty for AMASICON 2018 at Lucknow and delivered the lecture on “Robotic Whipple’s- Tips and Tricks”
  • Invited as faculty for International Hepatobiliary conference at PSG SURGICON 2017, Coimbatore and presented the master video on laparoscopic spleen preserving distal pancreatectomy.
  • Invited as faculty at TN Annual chapter of Paediatric surgeons, SEPSCON 2017 to present a video lecture on Robotic pancreaticoduodenectomy for the youngest patient in the world.
  • Invited as faculty to deliver a master video at AMASICON Kochi 2017 on “ Minimally invasive distal pancreatectomy.”
  • Presented 7 research papers on various topics related to minimally invasive HPB surgery at 13th IHPBA world congress, Geneva, Switzerland.
  • Has been a part of organising committee of several national and international conferences conducted by GEM Hospital, Coimbatore including IASGCON 2016 and ISLPR 2016.
  • Presented the award paper on a study comparing open vs laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy at IHPBA2014, Mumbai.
  • Presented award paper on “Abdominal Tuberculosis- Myriad presentations” in the Sundaram Award Oration category at TN&P branch ASI annual meet.
  • Received the Best paper award for “An Interesting case of Benign Cystic Peritoneal Mesothelioma” at ASI Chennai City Chapter meet in June 2009.
  • Received the ICMR short term student research scholarship for a work on “Hpylori incidence in Gastric carcinoma” in May 2003
