ABOUT

He is completed MBBS from PSG IMS&R in 1999, DNB General surgery from Madurai Medical College, Rajaji Govt.Hospital in 2003.
He is with prof.Dr.C.Palanivelu since 2008, for 13 years now. He developed his skills and advanced laparoscopic surgeries under his guidance. He is part of upper GI surgical team since 2012 – as s senior consultant doing all major surgical works including all types of hernia surgery, gall bladder surgery, lap.Fundoplication, Achalasia cardia, Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, upper GI cancer surgeries except oesophageal cancers.
He is having special interest in obesity & diabetes surgery – joined with Dr.Praveenraj since 2013. Now he is a lead consultant in the department of obesity & Diabetic surgery. He has participated as a faculty in various national / international conferences, conducted regular CME / Seminars / Training courses in obesity, hernia and upper GI fields. He published more than 30 papers in well renowned journals. He is also co-author of books published in the field of obesity – (1) Bariatric surgical practice guide (2) Clinics in Bariatric / Metabolic surgery.
