Interests:
I am attracted to pursuing reconstructive urology due to the wide variety of clinical problems and the options available. I am particularly interested in the field of endoscopic and laparoscopic urology.

I have done my dissertation on Standardized open mesh repair of inguinal hernia (using a technique of local anesthesia) with a standard size of mesh and predetermined fixation protocol for the mesh.

Helped organise several functions like MEDI EXPO 2000 (medical exhibition) at Kilpauk Medical college, SZUSICON 2011 at Mahabalipuram
Have been an active cricket player and served as captain of the college cricket team and won several tournaments.
Represented college in various sports – cricket, table-tennis, football.

PRESENT ROLE:

I am employed with GEM hospital from September2019 till date, in the capacity of senior consultant presently. I am well versed with all basic urology and endourologic procedures; ESWL, URS, RIRS, PCNL for stones. I have been performing Holmium laser enucleation of prostate independently from 2016. I am managing all reconstructive urologic operations at my centre. I have trained in basic and advanced uro laparoscopic procedures- nephrectomy, pyeloplasty etc.
